Founded by Cary M. Silverman, M.D., EyeCare 20/20 began as Parsippany EyeCare Associates in 1986. Dr. Silverman is a highly skilled New Jersey LASIK Eye Surgery specialist. He has also treated many New Jersey cataract surgery patients with the most advanced surgical techniques and top technology IntrOcular Lenses such as Technis Multifocal, Symfony, Symfony Toric, Technis Toric, ReStor, Acrysof Toric, Crystalens, and Trulign. Since its humble beginning, the practice has grown to be one of the leading centers providing state-of-the-art ophthalmology services in East Hanover to individuals from throughout northern New Jersey and the Manhattan, New York City areas.

Since 1992, Dr. Silverman has performed thousands of refractive surgeries. Utilizing the latest technology, such as the ALLEGRETTO WAVE® Eye Q laser system and FS 200 Femtosecond laser for All LASER LASIK surgery, Dr. Silverman is able to provide superior care tailored to the needs of each patient. Dr. Silverman also specializes in refractive cataract surgery and introduced Laser Cataract surgery to New Jersey in 2012. He also introduced the Kamra and Raindrop corneal inlays to decrease the need for reading glasses in 2016.

Dr. Silverman has been cited as one of The BEST DOCTORS in the New York Metro Area by Castle, Connolly Medical Ltd. each year consecutively from 1997 to 2016. And, since the EyeCare 20/20 is so advanced, it serves as a training facility for other ophthalmologists.

The main objective of our program is to encourage and support the development of the individual, and to provide opportunities for self exploration and discovery. Since children are active and curious, it is our goal to provide learning experiences designed to stimulate your child’s creative learning abilities.

Since pre-school has become almost a prerequisite to public school, we make the atmosphere one of warmth and love so that the experience our children have during the first years in school is a positive one.

Kona Ice raised over $50 million dollars for local communities and organizations since 2007. So yeah, you might say that fundraising is our thing. The best part about it truly is that it’s so easy – for you AND for us. Fundraising should be a great experience for everyone involved – it should be fun! That’s where we come in – we put the “fun” back in fundraising!

We can fundraise for just about anything – schools, sports teams, band programs, etc. We have pre-paid Kona Cards that you can sell OR you can have us out at any event and we’ll donate a portion of the sales back to your program. Basically, if you have need, we’ll try and meet it as best as possible. We’re a fundraising machine…literally.
